A chameleon is an animal that changes color in each new environment. Like a chameleon, I've always wanted to become a person who can blend into a new background when placed in one. I want to be someone who can evolve to suit my environment anytime and anywhere. The ability of adapting to an environment is distinctly appealing to me. To become such a person, I must learn new knowledge over and over in the environment I am given.

     When I look back into my childhood, I was very quiet, but also sometimes did really off the wall things. In my dreams, I used to create many inventions. So, I put a pen and notebook at my bedside to record my inventions. Once I inserted an ironchopstick into the electrical outlet so I electrocuted my finger a little bit. By the way, I was a wild-eyed person and had three dreams to become a doctor, a writer, and an artist. Come to think of it, today I am absolutely a happy person because I have two fields of study, art and literature.

    My life long interests are both illustration/animation and Korean folklore. My dream is to create children's books/children's animations based on Korean folklore. Especially, I want to use Korean classical texts such as Princess Bari. If possible, I hope that I will be a writer of children's literature and an artist. In addition, in the future, I hope that I will have a unique interactive exhibition for children and their families, with my illustration/animation/media art, my writing and my music.

    Finally, have you ever heard of the Chameleon Star? In fact, a lot of people don't know about the Chameleon Star, and there is no mythology about the Chameleon Star, either. However, it is true that the Chameleon Star is brightly shining from outer space. Like the Chameleon Star, I am not yet well-known, but I have a lot of potential. I believe that, someday, people will find all sorts of hidden treasures in my works of art and will enjoy seeing them.
